| After finishing 16th in last season's final Brad Easty produced an amazing turnaround to win his first Australasian Final when he beat former winner Ryan Irwin in a run-off after the pair had tied on 12 points. Warren Casey and Josh Montsach both suffered misfortune in the meeting, with a fall and time exclusion respectively, but had the consolation of qualifying comfortably to the GP Challenge Semi Finals. The final spot went to Jason Isaacs who won a 5 man decider, after a series of heats, against Shuter, Billington, Moore and the unfortunate Keyse, who had been a first heat faller. Double winner Fillippe Chong couldn't make it a hat-trick with an inconsistent performance but the young GP star will surely add to his title haul in future seasons. |
